cordials and water in Africa.

Bevpak is located in Ibadan, Nigeria and is one of
the largest manufacturers of PET preforms in West Africa.
Our customers include bottlers of the world's leading brands
of soft drinks and mineral water
and major bottlers throughout Nigeria.
Our production process uses the latest technology with
Husky injection moulding machines and Piovan dryers.
We also manufacturer barrier preforms using
a Kortec multilayer system for producing preforms
for certain applications.
Multilayer barrier technology creates
considerable shelf-life benefits for many beverage
and consumer products in hot climates.

Typical multilayer PET opportunities include the following:
- Carbonated beverages : multilayer extends the shelf life of PET bottles
by a factor of between 2 and 3 by reducing the rate
at which gas escapes through the surface of the bottle. - Beer/malt-based beverages : the barrier layer helps prevent oxygen ingress,
as well as helping with CO2 retention.
Practical shelf life of 6 months or more can be obtained with multilayer bottles. - Dairy products : Barrier to light and oxygen.
- Fruit juice : Barrier to oxygen ingress.
Nigeria is part of the ECOWAS economic bloc and
BevPak has achieved certification in terms of
the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS).
We are currently awaiting the gazetting of this status
with the customs unions of the ECOWAS member countries.
This process, when completed, will allow BevPak customers
based in ECOWAS countries
to import our preforms duty free or at a reduced tariff.

Church Street Trustees Limited as trustees of the SI Trust,

for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of
Bevpak (Nigeria) Limited (“Bevpak”).
Bevpak is one of the largest manufacturers of PET preforms
in West Africa and is located
in Ibadan, Nigeria,
with a production capacity of 18,000 Mts. per annum.
