DETAILS
PTT Global Chemical Public Company Ltd.(“PTTGC”)
and Sumitomo Corporation
have been carrying out a Feasibility Study
for manufacturing and sale of Butadiene derivatives,
in Thailand since September 2016.
Kuraray GC Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.,
a joint venture company
funded by the aforementioned three companies,
has now reached a decision
to invest in Butadiene derivative business
within the petrochemical area of
the WHA Eastern Industrial Estate
(Map Ta Phut ) , Rayong Province,
Kingdom of Thailand.
In addition, Kuraray has decided
to solely construct production facilities
for 5KTA 3-Methyl-1.5-Pentanedio
(MPD) adjacent to the abovementioned plant.
The manufacture and sale of
High Heat Resistant Polyamide resin PA9T and
Hydrogenated Styrenic Thermoplastic Elastomers
will be handled by
Kuraray GC Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.
