Voith Receives Order for High-volume Production of
CFRP Components for Future Audi Model 2015-05-29

Audi AG has placed an order with Voith
for the high-volume production of a CFRP component
for a future Audi model.
Voith and Audi will jointly prepare
the manufacturing ramp-up for the CFRP component.
The order is one more important step
in developing the industrialization of composite production.
Voith founded
Voith Composites GmbH & Co. KG
in Garching in 2010 as
a development and production company
for carbon fiber products within the Voith Group.
In 2011, the first exclusively
composites development and production center
in the Voith Group was opened at Voith's Garching site.
