Johnson Matthey

announces that on 28th February 2015

it completed the acquisition of

the battery materials business of Clariant AG (Clariant)

for US $75 million.

 The business is a leading supplier of 

 lithium iron phosphate cathode material 

 to the lithium-ion battery sector 

 for automotive and non-automotive applications

This completes the transaction

which was first announced on 29th October 2014.
