Details
Chilean pulp and paper producer CMPC group
has selected Veolia Water,
via its subsidiary Veolia Water Solution and Technologies,
to build three facilities
to treat raw water and waste water at its pulp plant
located in the State of Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil,
for completion in April 2015.
The contract costs 130 million Euros.
About 3 water treatment facilities
First unit : Production of Demineralized water
to supply the boilers
: 39,600 m3/day
Second unit : Treatment of raw water before
injection into the paper production process
: 108,000 m3/day
Third unit : Treatment of waste water by MBBR Technology
: 140,000 m3/day
