has agreed to acquired the assets of
Lubrication Services, LLC. (LSi),
one of North America's leading multi-regional
distributors of lubricants and chemicals.
The investment amount will be USD 42 million.

Benefit to Brenntag
* Lsi has a market position, expertise and infrastructure
that alllow Brenntag to further increase participation
in the expected rapid growth related to
shale gas plays.
* The acquisition is an excellent addition to
the core product offering of a subsidiary,
Costal Chemcial Co., LLC.
* Furthermore, Lsi will strengthen existing
distribution relationships with key supply partners
and key customers in an expanded geography.
