About the new Joint Venture Company
The new joint venture, known as
Momentive Specialty Chemicals Australia Pty Ltd. (JV),
is owned
50 % by Momentive Specialty Chemicals and
50 % by Laminex group
The JV provides
1. formaldehyde and urea formaldehyde resins
to Laminex and
2. other products to industrial customers in
Western Australia
The JV, which has 30 employees,
generated about $ 30 million in sales in 2011.
