Jandal Poly Films Ltd. (JPFL)
has entered into an agreement with
ExxonMobil Chemical to purchase ExxonMobil's
Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Global Films Business.
The transaction remains subject to neccessary approvals
from regulatory authorites.

The agreements covers
5 BOPP production locations in the U.S. and Europe.
U.S. : Georgia and Oklahoma
Europe : Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium
the transaction also includes a technology center and
sales and office in Rochester, New York,
and office in Luxembourg.
Approximately 1,500 people work in these operations
Jindal Poly Films Ltd. (JPFL)
* JPFL has the world's single largest site for the production of
BOPP and BOPET films at Nasik, India.
* JPFL's current combined capacity of BOPET and BOPP is
337,000 tons per year. and annual sales turnover as on
March 2012 was US $ 452 million.
* JPFL buy this business due to its excellent porfolio of
premium products along with
industry leading technology and R&D.
* From this acquistion, JPFL welcomes experience and capable works.
* With existing Indian operation, JPFL will be able to deliver
effective long-term solutions to customers globally.
