Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc.
plans to build a new plant in
the Pinthong Industrial Estate Park, Chonburi, Thailand.
The new plant will triple Momentive Specialty Chemicals'
production capacity to produce a broad range of
acrylic resins degined for use primarily in
1. coating,
2. adhesives and
3. building and construction application.

The new site will include
1. product development and application laboratories as well as
2. technical services and application support capabilities
for customers.
Construction of the plant in underway and
completion and commissioning is expected in
the first half of 2013.
The plant is expected to employ 30 people.
Upon completion of this new facility, Momentive will close down
the existing smaller plant in Samutskorn, Thailand,
which is a leased property.
The company will continue to maintain its
sales and administrative offices in Bangkok.
