This allows BTP to supply into a large range of industries that include: Automotive, furniture, office equipment, electrical, engineering, power tools, garden tools, cable tie & tie wraps, fan housing and air-conditioning systems & many more. |
PA66 compounds are unique formulations developed specifically for the injection moulding industry. Based on nylon 66 feedstock we produce hundreds of compounds which are segregated into the following catagories: glass fibre filled, glass sphere filled, mineral filled, unfilled, impact modified, flame retardant, MoS2 & others.

announced today the purchase of
an engineering plastics compounder based in The Netherlands.
The acquisition establishes Ascend’s European manufacturing base
and expands its global compounding capacity.
BTP was founded in 2006 by Andrew Leigh.
The company is an engineering thermoplastics compounder
specializing in the production of proprietary nylon compounds.
Its certifications include ISO 9001 and TS 16949.
BTP’s employees will transition immediately to Ascend.
Leigh will join Ascend’s global management team
as director of compounding technology.
