Toray Industries, Inc.
agreed to purchase in April 2013 the entire stake in
DOME CARBON MAGIC LIMITED (DCM)
from Dome Group,
a racing car designer and manufacturer,
to make it a wholly owned subsidiary in order to
expand carbon fiber composite materials business.
Toray plans to rename the company
Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd.
At the same time, The company will also acquire
75 % stake in Dome Composites (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
and make it a subsidiary,
Which Toray plans to rename as
Carbon Magic (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (DCT)

About DCM and DCT
- DCM was established in 1995 as
a manufacturing company of DOME Co., Ltd.
to produce carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) parts
for racing cars
- DCM's expertise in
* design engineering,
* prototype proposal and
* high precision technology
acquired through experience in design and manufacturing of
racing car parts, is highly respected in the markets
- The company has been producing a number of CFRP parts
in a wide range of fields not limited to automobile applications.
- Thai production based DCT was established in 2005
as a joint venture with Saha Group for
mass production of CFRP parts.
- DCT has been mass-producing high-quality products
at competitive prices using autoclave technology and
steadily expanding its business.
- DCT is located in Cholburi province, Thailand.
